この度、弊社の取り組む活動が、一般社団法人 日本SDGs協会より「事業認定」されました。
Goto Sangyo Kisen has certified as one of SDGs project company
by Japan SDGs Association.
SDGsとは？
SDGsとは、2015年9月国連で採択された「持続可能な開発目標」です。「誰一人取り残さない」という理念のもと、「世界の貧困をなくす」「持続可能な世界を実現する」ことを目指した、2030年を達成期限とする17のゴール、169のターゲット、および、その進展を評価するための指針を持つ包括的な目標です。
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty,
protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The 17 SDGs are integrated—they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic,
and environmental sustainability.
日本SDGs協会とは？
一般社団法人日本SDGs協会は、「SDGs（Sustainable Development Goals）」の達成に向けた取り組みを推進する為に、その周知を図るとともに、あらゆる企業・団体・組織、そして個人に至るさまざまな活動をサポートすることを目的とした民間団体であり、企業の取り組みが17あるゴールのどの目標に向かっているかゴールの最適化を行い、認定書の発行などをおこなっています。
The Japan SDGs Association is a private organization dedicated to promoting efforts
to achieve the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
It was established with the aim of promoting awareness of the SDGs
and supporting the activities of all companies, groups, organizations,
and individuals.

We achieve gender equality and empower women. We also create a work environment
that is conducive to employees’ changing life stages and enable them to be
fully prepared for primary education through quality childcare support from infancy.
〇女性社員に対するあらゆる形態の差別を撤廃するため、働き方改革（「在宅ワーク」、「産前・産後、育児休業」の取得促進、活動しやすい服装バリエーションの考案・導入など）を推進する。また、社内での快適な環境づくりを実現する。男女問わず、出産・家庭における質の高い初等教育の準備に参画できやすいような体制を整備する。
-To eliminate all forms of discrimination against female employees, we promote changes
in the way we work (“work from home,” encouraging employees to take “maternity and
childcare leave,” devising and introducing clothing variations that make it easier
to be active, etc.). In addition, we realize the creation of a comfortable environment
within the company. Develop a system that makes it easy for both men and women
to participate in childbirth and preparation for quality primary education at home.

２「長崎県の離島である上五島を拠点とした唯一の船会社であるため、地域公共交通に求められる交通手段としての使命を果たすべく地域住民の安全・安心な移動手段を確保するとともに、「雇用の創出」「観光振興・世界の文化遺産及び自然の保護」、「海の環境保全」を実現する。さらに、自治体（長崎県・新上五島町）とのパートナーシップで、目標達成の支援活動の推進を図り、地域創成に貢献する。」
As the only shipping company based on the isolated island, Kamigoto which is in the
upper side of Goto islands in Nagasaki Prefecture, we ensure safe
and secure transportation for residents to fulfill our mission
as a means of transportation required for regional public transportation,
as well as “creating jobs,” “promoting tourism and protecting
the world’s cultural heritage and nature,” and “preserving the marine environment.
Furthermore, in partnership with local governments
(Nagasaki Prefecture and Shinkamigoto Town),
we promote support activities to achieve our goals
and contribute to regional development.
〇公共交通の安全性改善により、輸送システムへのアクセスを提供する。また、より一層の利便性向上のため、運航ダイヤ（早朝便夕遅便の撤廃など）の最適化を行い、より多くの人々が活動できる時間帯にアクセスできる輸送システム構築を行う。
-We provide access to the transit system by improving the safety of public transport.
To improve for convenience further, the operation schedule (elimination of early morning
operations and late evening operations) is optimized, and the transportation system is
built to provide access to more people at times when they can be active.
〇雇用創出、地域の文化振興・産品販促につながる持続可能な観光業を促進する。
-We promote sustainable tourism that leads to job creation, promotion of
local culture and products.
・ターミナル内に「売店」を構築し、上五島の特産品や、土産物の普及のための雇用を創出する。
We build a “store” in the Port Terminal to create jobs that is connected
to promote Kamigoto’s local products and souvenirs.
・新たな事業分野（旅行業）で、従来の航路を資源とした船旅ツアー企画により、海上旅客運送を軸とした離島観光振興を実現する。
In our new business field (travel agency), we realize the promotion of
isolated island tourism based on marine passenger transportation
by planning boat tours using the traditional routes as resources.
〇五島地域に伝わる国指定重要無形民俗文化財である「五島神楽」新上五島町指定無形民俗文化財である「十七日祭り」や地域に根付いた「弁財天祭り」等の伝統芸能の継承活動プロジェクトを推進し、文化遺産及び自然遺産の保護に貢献する。
-We contribute to the protection of cultural and natural heritage by promoting projects
for the inheritance of traditional performing arts such as Goto Kagura,
a nationally important intangible folk cultural property, Jushichinichi Matsuri,
an intangible folk cultural property designated by the town of Shinkamigoto,
and Meizaiden, which has taken root in the local community.
〇海洋ごみによる汚染などの防止に努め、海洋及び沿岸の生態系に関する悪影響を回避することに寄与する。
-We strive to prevent pollution from marine debris and contribute to the avoidance of
adverse impacts on marine and coastal ecosystems.
・長崎港清掃協議会に加盟して、長崎港周辺の清掃美化の奉仕を行う。
We join the Nagasaki Port Cleaning Council to help clean and beautify the area
around Nagasaki Port.
・長崎県安全安心まちづくりパートナーシップ事業における海洋清掃に協力、実践する。
We cooperate and practice marine cleanup as part of the Nagasaki Prefecture Safe
and Secure Community Development Partnership Project.
